In addition to today being a good day for Taylor as it pertains to pain control, it’s also been a good day for her and Aiden as they were able to spend some quality time together. Aiden even got in a nap next to mom during his visit.I know Taylor is looking forward to more times like this, in a non-hospital setting, very soon.
Thank you so much for all your support! In so many ways friends, family and the communityhave reached out and helped lift Taylor up. Whether through the kind words in an email, prayers, organizing and getting the word out, or financially, you have made real and lasting difference. I hope and pray that you realize the impact that you have made through the kindness you have sown in the lives of Taylor and family.
In the coming months Taylor will face many new challenges, not the least of which will be learning to manage day to day tasks for her and her 18 month old son Aiden. As any parent knows managing an 18 month old boy, especially a boy from the Church line, is a real struggle. Taylor will have the added challenge of doing this while also learning to operate without both of her feet and her hands. By any measure Taylor has a BIG mountain to climb in the very near future.
Equipping her home (entry way, bathroom, kitchen, etc.) and vehicle to accomodate her disability is going to be a major undertaking both physically and fincacially. Once again, thank you to everyone for your continued support.
